    This individual appears to be undergoing preformative molt with retained juvenile wing coverts showing pale wing-bars. The orange on the crown is never easy to see and absent on juveniles.     Orange-crowned Warbler seems to like grape jelly too. Orange-crowned Warblers are small songbirds. Compared with other warblers, they have noticeably thin, sharply pointed bills. They have short wings and short, square tails.
