    Red-capped Robin-chat (or Natal Robin) - I think this bird must have stunned itself flying into a window; certainly not normal for it to be out in the open! The good news is that as we approached it flew off apparently unharmed.

    Grey Crowned Crane, Balearica regulorum, Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, East Africa. Juvenile. The adult Grey Crowned Crane is about 1 m, 3.3 ft tall and weighs 3.5 kg, 7.7 lbs. Its body plumage is mainly grey. These birds are the emblem of Uganda and appear on the countrys flag.
