    The Canon 600mm f4Mk2 weighs in at 3.92 kg so it can be hand held as was the case with this shot.It's roughly the same weight as the older MK1 500mm which was often seen hand held although not by me! It's light enough to take as cabin luggage on all the commercial airlines too as was necessary...
