‘Little Brown Job’. Passer Domesticus (1 Viewer)

I knew quite well of course what species this was, since the sparrow fledgling was being fed near our mixed seed feeder within a few feet of my nose outside my window ! This is an informal term often used by birders when referring to various ubiquitous little brown birds which are notoriously difficult to identify.

My self-imposed challenge here was to use as reference a good photograph I had managed to take to further practice my bird painting, a direction of my work I had only recently embarked upon.

I hoped that the result would be identifiable!
