Three 2cy large gulls. Trying to learn about this age group. Herring Gull is default Gull here but we've had a huge push of LBBGs, regular YLG (juv/1st winter) and the odd Caspian Gull. Most Herring Gulls this age don't have any significant amount of grey mantle feathers yet but of course huge variability and some may well be more well advanced. Not sure about 1st bird but was wondering on YLG for the 2nd and 3rd bird.
