Most people who have visited Peru have visited, or at least heard about the famous Amazonia Lodge. However for some years already the old owners of the lodge were searching for new owners and finally their search was successful, as was anounced on their Facebook page two days ago.

The new owners are a peruvian birdwatching guide (Abraham F. Huamán L) and a german agronomist and geographer (Ulrike Maennig)

Great news. It must be a relief for Sr Santiago and Sra Nelly. It is also in good hands of people with a lot of experience in running Manu tours. Abraham is a very good birder.
