Any Ideas - Koh Samui Thailand (1 Viewer)

I know it's a long shot but does anyone know what this is? They have never been close enough to get a decent picture but thought someone might happen to know. Thanks. Michelle

I suspect a blue-tailed bee-eater, as being the more common one in Koh Samui/Surat Thani. Asian green bee-eaters have not be seen that far south, at least no records on e-bird:)

Looking at the lightened photo provided by Mr. Small perhaps a blue-throated bee-eater should not be discounted. Wouldn't a blue-tail show a white line on the neck and much lighter undertail coverts? Sorry, I lack the knowledge to distinguish between the two in this case:(

Thanks for your help. You guys all have way more knowledge than me.
