I had posted a thank you to Peter Fraser for all of the analysis of records he has done over many years.
In his Scarce Migrants 2004-2007 paper in the current BB Pete announces his retirement from bird-recording. He really has done us a great service over the years, and judging by his 'lack of entrepreneurial abilities' for little reward.
Best wishes for a long and bird-filled 'retirement' without the stresses of recording Pete.
