Bird ID - Austin TX area, Feb 2016 (1 Viewer)

Can anyone help ID'ing a small flock of birds I saw while walking around the campus where I work in Austin, TX last week? I did not have binoculars and they would fly away when I got anywhere near so I did not get a great look; they are not birds I normally see so I assume they might be migrating:

10+ individuals
small-medium sized
white edges on upper side of tail visible when flying away (definitely saw this)
yellowish breast hue, with black in upper breast area (pretty sure about this)

Thanks in advance!
