LOWER /MILL SHRUB evening.
Heard there was a Red Kite around Withybed so hoping to catch it later around Lower.....but no luck.
Also a Knot was reported on Upper in morning.

While there I met a chap who said there had been a Cattle Egret on East shore a few hours earlier and we had a look in the smallholdings but to no avail - he also said the Knot was still on Upper around 7pm.

Shortly after he left I had 2 EGRETS go over Lower very high and tried getting a few snaps but focus was so hard....they flew around the resa and off left by the canal. A few mins a larger white bird than the gulls came from the left and across the resa then off to left again....

I am sure that there was one CATTLE EGRET and one LITTLE EGRET......

These were the 1st fly over...
1. Little Egret
2.Cattle Egret
3. Same as 2 but showing how high they were.

These 2nd fly around...
4 and 5 Cattle Egret...
