I've been recording Black Swifts activities and have been forwarding info to a Washington State Ornithological Society member, figured I'd post the info I have so far this year, here.

11 minutes of Black Swifts June 13 thru July 24:

Suspected black Swift nest sites Aug 5:

I'm going to try and zoom into the suspected nest sites and see if I can get any detailed images of what is happening at these locations, could be nest sites, I'd like to see if I can find a juvenile in the nest and record its image.

They are hard to observe and record, a few minutes each evening of flight is all I'm getting, anywhere from an hour before sunset to half an hour after.

snoqualmieScott, one good way to ensure your observations are available for others to use is to upload to ebird.org.

DeaneRenata, Snoqualmie Falls is one of the largest and by far the most famous waterfall in Washington. It's on the Snoqualmie River, a tributary of the Snohomish, east of Seattle, about halfway to the Cascade Crest and about two miles north of Interstate 90 Exit 25. The falls themselves are definitely worth a visit (best in winter or spring). The videos all appear to have been taken from the easily accessible overlooks.
