Blackcap? (1 Viewer)

I have heard what I think were blackcaps singing on the heath near me, but though I (think) I've seen a female one in the little front garden, never heard singing in my garden before. I'm thrilled just to have a new bird in the garden. Might they nest? Do they do that in urban gardens? There's a large sycamore (not yet in leaf), a fir tree and various shrubs etc. Where might they choose? And (big question) do they stand a chance against the magpies??! Thanks anyone!
