I live in Paris, right opposite the Bois de Boulogne. I was a fairly serious birder back in the 1970s and 80s but bringing up children and developing a career meant that birds have been lower on the priorities for the last 15 years or so. I hope to get back into the swing in the coming months and look forward to contributing the odd piece - and it probably will be odd - on the Forum.
