This poor bird couldn't fly and hence I was able to catch hold of it.
Handed it over to the local SPCA, to see if it could be treated for whatever reason it couldn't fly.
However, the identification still remains.
On the face of it, looks like a Brown Headed Gull, but the head band flummoxes. Is it winter plumage or some other bird??

Pic was taken recently on 2nd December, and since I was in Karwar only for a short time, couldn't follow back as to what happened to the bird.
