We rarely get Spotted Bush Warbler in our location. Lucky to have this one at Baruipur grassland and marshes. This is a genuine Skulker. Got itvin the early morning only. Could not find any more once the sun came up. Do they remain active during the later part? Can any one throw some light on its day time behavior please.PSX_20230219_074026.jpg

Great job photographing it! It's only the second photo of this shy warbler in BirdForum. If you'd like to upload an image or a sound recording of it to the Gallery, we'd be most grateful.

I don't know anything about your bird's ecology, unfortunately, but maybe it's similar to other Locustella species (still, I'm not familiar with the behaviour of these either, but maybe someone else is).

Thank you for your kind appreciation. This was photographed on 18.02.23.
I have also photographed Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler I.e., Rusty-rumped Warbler from this area earlier and heard the call of another Locustella, Laceolated Warbler there, but couldn't captured it.
Surely, I'll uploading this image in gallery.
Yes, I do not able to get them during day time and activities are very low.
