Buzzard or something completely different? (1 Viewer)

I took this shot rather quickly as i was emerging from under leaf cover. Ive always erred on the side of caution and put it down as a young Buzzard. However, im not completely happy with that, as it looks quite long winged for that species.

Also, the carpel points look well pushed forward and the tail looks rounded at the corners.

I only caught a glimpse of it as it passed overhead, but the reason i tried taking a shot of it, was because it looked more sleeker and darker than the local Buzzards.

Also, the wings were held more or less level...not in any V.

I really need to nail this, cos its been nagging at me for a month:-O

Taken at Upper Bittell, Worcestershire last month.
