Canon Cashback on 40D questions (1 Viewer)

Well thanks for all the input. I've decided to go with the offer now, partly because I can't bear the idea of being without the 40D during our trip to the mountains of Dalecarnia on the Norwegian border in July. Also the wife says it's OK.

Enjoy Dalarna! I spent two years in Falun many moons ago but never made it as far west as that though. Beautiful county and the wildlife is spectacular.

Of interest to you Martyn. I too bought my 40D from Wilkinsons in the 'white box'. Sent the bar code enclosed to Canon who said it was the wrong one! Cut the one off the bottom of the box and received my cashback. [there was yet another code on the side]. I sent the one that said that there was a lens and body. Perhaps they thought I had forgotten to claim for the lens!

I hadn't noticed the barcode on the bottom of the box! I've emailed this to Canon today, let's see what kind of response I get
