Cape Barren Goose Hampshire UK (1 Viewer)

I came across this goose in a local watercress bed today, it appears to be a Cape Barren goose, an escapee presumably. I'd like to know a little more about the history of this species in the UK. There are no lakes with ornamental fowl in the immediate area as far as I know, are they also kept as domestic animals?

Certainly a Cape Barren Goose and certainly an escape from a zoo or private collection; none kept for other reasons.

Thank you. A few weeks ago there were two Egyptian Geese in the same location, I wonder if they were also part of a collection.
