Hi,

I am more in to vintage cameras but recently my friends came across pair of really special binoculars Carl Zeiss Jena D.F 8x60H . I know they might be rare and it's hard to find information about it. Maybe some of you would be able to help me? IMG_5925.jpgIMG_5926.jpgIMG_5930.jpgIMG_5928.jpg

The 8x60 with porro-2 prisms was designed in 1917 and produced until 1945. A number of different versions were produced.
The 8x60HT was a binocular developed for the Navy and was made between 1938 and 1941.
Gijs van Ginkel.

I suspect our original poster is already aware those binoculars could be valuable! He might be more interested in what they are like to use, to look through, etc. Anyone here spent much time behind a pair?
