I'd put money that the skua spp was a Long-tailed
Were all of these at Frodsham Marsh H ?Marsh harrier (juv), Peregrine (juv fem), Lanner type (not the same one as at IMF: smallish, slim bird, thin brown moustachials, very white face, buffy forecrown, pale nape patch, brown mantle & wings (pale fringes); barred brown, pale-tipped tail.
Also a fem-type Red-crested pochard, 1 Little stint, Golden plovers, 100s Lapwings.

Hi CC it's the old seafront wall in front of the ice cream parlour where everyone eats their fish and chips, it has a few benches.

quick question, what tide hight is needed to flood parkgate,
there's some decent ones look to be coming round 26th to 28th, but i can't for the life of me remember what height jane said it needed to flood.
i also now have less than a month left to achieve my personal target of all the british grebe species within 12 months, i still need red necked, so if anyone hears of one i would greatly appreciate hearing about it too.
