Cheshire And Wirral Birding: Hills, Lowland and Coast (2 Viewers)

The Marshside Great White Egret was present on the 14th so there must be 6 in the Cheshire/Merseyside/Lancashire area. They have I believe 4 at Dungenness in the last 4 weeks. For a northern site to get so many ...must be a record....

Certainly its a record in terms of Cheshire sightings. The Dee birds are very mobile but i'm now convinced there are three different birds present on the estuary along with probably two more in the Frodsham area.

Up to 6 Yellow-legged Gulls at Richmond Bank during a 4 hour stint today, but nearest to a white winged gull was a hybrid first winter Glaucous x Herring Gull. Gulls were very mobile thanks to the presence of lots of Grey Herons, presumably displaced from frozen pools at Moore.
