Church Norton Dip (2 Viewers)

Not really expecting to find the Purple Heron today at Church Norton as I had neither the time or inclination to try and persuade the other half to put in the effort required!! We did have a pretty good morning down there though, with the highlight being great views of the over-wintering Spotted Redshank that has been at Pagham Harbour for a while. The Tern/Gull colony at Church Norton is growing noisily and there were plenty of waders in the harbour. We also had great views of some newts, some pics and a poor video on the blog at the link if anyone cares to venture an ID!

The Heron turned up a couple of hours after we left!!
