Hi All

Any tips on where is best to see Cirl Buntings in Devon at the moment? I know Labrador Bay is supposedly good for them year round and maybe Broadsands in winter too?

Thanks in advance.

Labrador Bay is reliable but the views at Broadsands car park in winter, where the birds come to seed at the edge of the hardstanding, are terrific. Definitely take the camera and be prepared to sit quietly on the floor for those low angle shots of full plumage males.

Don't forget to pay for parking.

Who puts out the seed FJ, or is the area baited by bird photographers?
