Hi all,

More news on Collared Dove, she has 2 white eggs in the nest. :king:
I managed to have a quick look whilst she was off the nest yesterday evening.

More Baby doves to come and this time the weather will be more milder, so both eggs stand a very good chance of hatching. o:)

Not seen the original baby dove as yet, maybe Mr Dove is taking care of it?
I read that they can have up to 6 broods a year? That could mean 12 babies a year?
Oh goodness, a garden full of doves! :'D

Best Wishes,

Dale :t:

Hi Dale,
:t: That's terrific news. Hope they hatch successfully.
12 babies a year???!!!! :eek!: Better stock up on the seeds, they'll be soon be eating you out of house & home! ;)
All the best, Judo.

Hi Dale,

Crikey they don't hang about long do they! I've heard they never stop and am starting to believe it as yours are getting to be proof!! Fingers crossed.

Hi Dale,
Goodness me that didn't take long did it are you adding anything to their seed? Great news looking forward to seeing your pics when they hatch. ;)
