Colombia, 1300 meters, forest, today (1 Viewer)

I just got my Avifauna Colombiana and am trying to ID locsl birds near my house.

I saw one today I cannot locate in the book. But all I can tell you is: it’s about the size of the blue-green tanager. Has a blue body, a red head, and green coloration on the wings. Colors markedly defined.

It seems to be hanging out rather tranquilly in the foliage.
