Hello, could you please help me Identify this moth correctly. I am not good with moths.

I found this dead in my kitchen in a saucepan this week.
I live in west sussex, 3 miles from the coast on the edge housing estate near some farmland. if that helps ?

I've looked it up and i think its a Small Elephant Hawkmoth, am I right or not please.

Hi, Roger, it's reasonably common but like most moths you don't see them very often unless you run a light trap designed for the purpose.
