I tend to avoid Cuckmere Haven as it's usually heaving with people, but the long staying, Long-billed Dowitcher pulled me in, it was heaving but was still a very pleasant walk in glorious sunshine, the target bird did show itself, though photos were difficult, there was also an Osprey, several other wader species, singing Skylarks and lots of Little Egrets. All in all a very nice walk!! Some nice reflections were possible!! More pics on the blog!
