The Cyprus Bird Report 2016 is now available. The report contains 53 colour photos, the 2016 Systematic List of 310 observed species or recognised forms which was compiled from nearly 61,000 records, the 2016 Ringing report. Plus papers on the first Brown-necked Raven, Amur Falcon, Rustic Bunting and Oriental Turtle Dove in Cyprus; the declining trend of Cyprus’ Audouin’s Gull colony; the BirdLife Cyprus 2016 monitoring programmes; the breeding biology of the European Roller in western Cyprus and patterns of incidence of Troodos song birds at a rainwater resource. The Report includes species charts and tables and a full Cyprus bird List. The front cover features a pair of Great Spotted Cuckoo photographed at Anarita Park.
