Seen from my back door, does it have a cataract type injury to it's eye?

The attached are extreme crops from two different shots.

I was going to suggest you caught the nictitating membrane across the eye but the chances of doing that twice in two pictures is presumably slight ... to say the least.
 
Looking at my phone screen but I'd say the eye seems almost completely shut in this. I can just about the the edges of the eyelids very close together. I wouldn't know the reason behind it though.
