A few more that I am struggling with....some suggestion seem local/nationally scarce so I am sure I have missed a commoner species

1. Mullein Wave?
2. False Mocha?
3. ?
4. Must be obvious but I am going moth-blind!
5. Ringed Carpet?
6. Rustic agg? or worn Dusky Brocade? Flounced Rustic?

Agree on 1 & 2, Tawny-barred Angle for 3, Common Carpet for 4, maybe Brussels Lace for 5. Kind of dithering between Dusky Brocade & Flounced Rustic for 6 (I have my own Dusky Brocade / Flounced Rustic in the ID forum myself). Opinions above are those of a relative beginner. Could do worse than wait for others.

Thanks both, after some lunchtime web image searches of suggestions I conclude thus far. False Mocha still seems to fit better than Blairs Mocha.

1. Mullein Wave
2. False Mocha
3. Tawny-barred Angle
4. Common Carpet
5. Brussels Lace
6. Rustic agg? or worn Dusky Brocade? Flounced Rustic?

definitely leaning toward flounced rustic for 6 myself.

have you considered jersey mocha for 2? think they've become more common on the south coast these days. often a problem distinguishing mochas for sure without close examination though.
