Hi all, me and a friend had a diver heading east past reculver towers in Kent. Pretty certain its a red throated diver but it was miles out so would like confirmation. Major crop and decreased the exposure.

You’re right Red-throated it is , note that bill pointing upwards for example.

I don't feel that one can make out anything worthwhile of the bill (except that it's not huge) in a photo of this low quality (no offence), but all that white around face and throat makes it red-throated diver.
