Following the Butterfly Trail from the Dry Mill Lane car park is as good an option as any. The car park can be found on Google Maps.

17th Feb. Wyre Forest Male Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, calling & drumming. I got a photo. Great find by Rob.
I checked on the Merlin app lol & it picked it up twice. Great to hear it calling. Very short but distinctive call.
When I played it back on Merlin it barely picked it up.
Dippers. Rob spotted one up the brook from the old railway track.
He then spotted a Kingfisher just on the brook where a stream joined.
