Just back from a great day out in London where we watched the 2pm Earth Prom at the Albert Hall.

A stunning audio-visual celebration of the BBC’s world-famous Natural History Unit, from David Attenborough’s pioneering adventures through to the landmark series of the 21st century – with live music by Hans Zimmer and George Fenton.

My first time seeing a full orchestra and my first time going in the Albert Hall. Took me to my mid-50s before doing either.
The Prom was introduced by Chris Packham & Megan McCubbin.
Hans Zimmer came on stage for ashort interview.

The 7.30pm show was played live on Radio3.

It sounds wonderful Moose.

The one thing I miss about not living in London any more, is going to the Proms. Though I doubt I could actually prom now, and would have to have a seat LOL

Quite enjoyable. Nice tribute to David Attenborough whose voice has graced almost all the films featured.
