For those who live in "The Smoke" Earthwatch have just released their lecture programme for 2005 at the Royal Geographical Society in London. From a birding point of view the most interesting date is 23rd June when the talks will be on "Equador Forest Birds" & "Macaws of the Peruvian Amazon." These are free events but you do have to get tickets in advance. In my experience they are always interesting and often very interesting. Link for info is;

Hi Keith,
I couldnt` agree more the earthwatch lectures can be very informative especially if you are interested in birding and environmental and conservation issues.
I will hopefully attend certain lectures in 2005
