I know Eastern Kingbirds are agressive, but today we witnessed a male E. Kingbird attacking House Finches.

We initially noticed the Kingbird go to the finch nest, and he seemed to peck at the young, and fly away.

Later he attacked the female finch, as she was feeding her young.

The House Finches nested on top of a gutter downspout, which is a location Kingbirds have nested in previous years.
