Hi!
I’ve had the Athlon Ares ED 8x36 for some four years. Problems with the diopter/focus wheel made one eye blurry. Also the mecanics of one eye cup become loose. So I sent the bino to service to Athlon. They have an impressive Lifetime Warranty. I am happy to say that they sent me back a brand new bino, although in a different model, Athlon Midas G2 8x42 UHD. This model have, like the Ares, phase- and dielectric coatings, ED glass, XPL coating and a wide FOV with 8,1*. The diameter of the ocular lens is 23 mm.
Very pleased with the service from Athlon!
