Dear birders,

I found an old photo (September 2013) taken on Crete.

Unfortunately, it's rather low quality but perhaps you're able to identify this one.
I assume it's either peregrine falcon or lanner?

Neither I suspect, on my little phone screen it looks more like a Long legged Buzzard.
 
The bad quality of the photo makes us uncertain to tell what evidently is .....I think it is a female Circus Pygargus. White belly , intense iris that creates a contrast and black ''eyebrow'' that extends....

Funnily enough Circus Pygargus starts chaning coloration in September which is when this picture was taken.
