Has anyone been on a bat excursion in the Fuerteventura (Canary Islands)? I will take EchoMeter Touch 2 with me when I go there for (birding)holiday. What species I might "hear" there and what are the best places to go?

My Crossbill guide mentions Kuhl's Pipistrelle as one of only two native mammals on Fuerteventura and Lanzarote (the other being Canary shrew). HTH

Thank you for the answer. Surprisingly that only one species of bat lives there. Barbary Ground Squirrels have been introduced there, but are there any other non-native mammals?

Yes, of course there is those rats and mouse and also rabbit. I forget those "pests". Actually, Black Rat would be a lifer to me... any sure place where it can be seen? 😁
