Good service from Zeiss USA (1 Viewer)

Hello,

One of the objective covers broke off its tether of my discontinued 8x32 FL. When I asked where I could buy a replacement, they sent a pair to me, without charge.
Perhaps that Austrian brand would have been so accommodating but that premier Japanese firm might not have been so helpful.

Edit: It seems very difficult to buy such items.

Stay safe,
Arthur

Good to see such service being acknowledged.

Also, I must say, good to see it for my very favourite bins (the 8x32 FLs). While discontinued, it is nice to see support. (And I remain damned glad I bought mine before they were discontinued.)

Hello Mike,

I bought my 8x32FL about sixteen years, ago. I have been so satisfied with them that I am in no hurry to upgrade to the current Zeiss 8x32SF.

Hi Arthur,

A few years ago I lost one of the objective covers for my much-loved Nikon 8x30 EII here in the UK. I contacted Nikon UK who immediately sent me a replacement pair without charge. Thank you Nikon!

Best, Graham

Hello Graham,

Nikon, UK is rather different from Nikon, USA.

Arthur:
Have you any personal experience with unsatisfactory service at Nikon USA ? If not, you are out of line. I have had
good experience with Nikon service. Tell us more............
