Great egret or juvenile little blue heron; Tulum, Mexico (1 Viewer)

This is from a question I posted in bird behaviour (https://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?p=3705092#post3705092 ).

One of the responses was that the white bird may not be a great egret, but a juvenile little blue heron. I wonder if someone could help.

At that time I thought the white bird was bigger than the little blue herons (but it does not look very different in size in the photos).

I have attached a few zoomed images - though they are not very clear I'm afraid.

Thanks in advance.
