Can someone confirm if this is a greater spotted eagle?
seen in Sharm el Sheikh, Sinai, Egypt this morning.

Hmmm?
Large double komma, underwing coverts lighter than flight feathers, just visible barring on inner primaries going down to the tip all suggest LSE

I should have looked more closely (the info in said book that the seventh finger counted from the outmost is short and rounded was new too me) at the photo in the first place.
