Gull ID - Durham, UK (1 Viewer)

Would appreciate thoughts in this gull, seen yesterday on Boldon Flats in Durham.

Not seen to fly, but appeared startlingly white-headed in the field, with long bill and grey mantle feathers coming through.

Has a 1st winter Caspian feel to it, but would like the thoughts of those more 'in the know'.
