May I inquire why this is a glaucous winged gull in the first place- it doesn't have the silverfish wing tips. The silver that appears to be on the wing tips seem to be a loose feather. Doesn't the bird in the photo fit better for a glaucous gull?

Edit- Actually I see the dark iris- so why not an Iceland gull?

Glaucous-winged Gull, bill is too robust for Iceland and in Alaska most Iceland gulls should have black wingtips anyways. Iceland would also have brighter bubblegum pink legs, streaking pattern, or lack thereof is also wrong for iceland type gulls
