I’m a new birder, but I’ve been bit by the birding bug pretty good. I’ve been reading a lot and trying to get out on some local bird walks. I don’t know the etiquette and I don’t want to fire up anyone’s pet peeves.

Any advice for a newbie?

No real rules. Just be polite and quiet ;)

Hi, welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group.

Hi Wing Of Zock and a warm welcome from me too. Just relax on your trip, watch, listen and learn. You can learn an awful lot in a short time on these trips. And don't be afraid to ask questions.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.
