Hello from Brooklyn, NY……you got a problem wit dat! (1 Viewer)

Hello from Brooklyn, NY. Just carrying on a stereotype. I’m a middle aged intensive care nurse. (Yeah it was bad). Former photographer late life career changer.

Avid fly fisherman, sea/surf kayaker. I have a camper in the Catskills and we have a range of wildlife in the area. Bald eagles have nested above camp and actively hunt the water we fish.

my next ‘big’ purchase will be some pocket nocs to scout fish, bugs on the water and wildlife around. Been wanting to go cheap than considered Zeiss terra Ed 8x25 but if I can find a deal I’ll save for the victory pockets. I wear glasses and a wide field of view is appealing.

Found this site by accident researching my next glass. Thanks…Nursewandy

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum and me, a former New Yorker ;) (y)

We're glad you found us and thanks for taking a moment to say hello. Please join in wherever you like ;)

Hello Wandy,

I do not have a problem with Brooklyn. I lived at the end of 'L' line, for many years.

I thank you for your service in the past year.

Stay safe,
Arthur

Hi Wandy and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

Hi, welcome to the forum. The folks in the binocular area will be happy to help you find a good pair.
