Also regarding Costa Rica, I am thinking of doing both Quetzales National Park and Osa Peninsula… Love to hear your views on this. It’s early August, so I’m prepared for the rain!

Hi Craig and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. I hope you have a great time in Costa Rica and Peru... you may find some interesting information in our Opus articles on these countries, with links to Areas of Interest. These have all been written by our members.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Hello and welcome Craig

I've had two fabulous holidays in New Zealand (albeit family holidays).
Managed to get out quite a bit in parks and hotel gardens but the only proper birding was from the Kaikoura albatross experience boat and the Whale Watch boat from the same harbour.

Looking forward to heading out there again in a few years.
