Hello from San Jose California! (1 Viewer)

Hi Opticsfanatics and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I’m sure I’ll have a great time sharing on this site. I have a question to ask regarding one of my older binoculars. I’m not sure where to post it. The hinges won’t bend. A fellow birder suggested to place a lubricant on the hinges (red arrows) or pry off the circle cover (yellow arrow) perhaps there is a screw the would loosen the hinges. I’m open to suggestions.
Thank you!

Hi, welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group. You will get much better help if you post your photo and question in this forum, (I can’t tell what type they are):
