Hi
I have been birdwatching for over 40 years, and now that I'm retired I can do even more. I would say that my bird knowledge is passable, but I'm always having to refresh my memory on details. I admire people who can look at a bird in the distance and can recognise it immediately. I need really good views to be certain, although I am getting better. Those dratted waders keep defeating me, though. :-C
My local patch where I do most of my birdwatching is Kinver Common and the area surrounding it, but trips to Upton Warren are also very enjoyable.
I'm hoping to learn a lot from other, more knowledgable, birders on this forum and am looking forward to partcipating. :t:
