Hello. Am a new member as of today. Long time nature/landscape photographer BUT new to digiscoping and/or prime focus scoping. Am wading through the choices and trying to get up to speed on the needed gear.

The most up-to-date review of scopes I've found so far was from 2009 Cornell Univ. review of the better/best ones, as of then, but it was viewing and not digiscoping of the scopes. I've been going on that and work from Paul H. and Andy B.

I need to decide on prime focus or digiscoping [I think]. Currently I'm @ 400mm prime and 100-400mm zoom lenses w/1.4 & 2 TC's and want to get out further for fine nature work. I use Canon 50, 40 and 20D cameras and a nice Casio 12mp point and shoot.

Am looking forward to learning and enjoying from this site.

Thank you, Skip M. LA, CA USA
