Greetings to all.

I've been here on and off for a bit, mostly for optics reviews and the for sale section acquiring gear.

I enjoy being outside more than in. I have had a love for birds since I was young, and have recently gotten into digiscoping and basic photography of wildlife, starting with birds, since they're in my yard and I can practice close to home. I'd like to build a small sanctuary in my yard with shelter and food and water in order to attract a variety of birds. May add some trees and bushes over the spring this year.

I have set up some game cams on feeders to capture my beloved cardinals and quail. I am going to be putting game cams out in the mountains near my home to capture more wildlife. If you have any interest in the sorts of birds that live in SE AZ, my channel link is in the bottom of my post. Here's one from this week:

Every morning on my way to work, I am greeted by hawks and ravens on the telephone poles along the roads. I've acquired a spotting scope adapter and soon hope to be photographing them, sitting there in all of their glory, pondering the world below.

Hi tucansam and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here. I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about and will be able to see some of your pictures in the Gallery too.

Hi there and a warm welcome to you! (y)
We're glad you found us and please join in wherever you like. ;)

I was under the weather which bought me a couple of days off from work, so I experimented with my DSLR, a telescope, and some video editing sofware that I am trying to learn.
